What is the CSM Coaches Room?
The Coaches Room is a written digital basketball membership for coaches nationwide. Beginning with Issue 003, released October 26, 2026, its monthly issues use the national magazine format with original articles and stories, verified dated stats, and explained state or program standouts, alongside focused CSM coaching guidance and printable tools for the program you already run.
What comes in each monthly issue?
The magazine combines basketball reading and analysis with a focused, season-aligned coaching guide. Coaching content may include operating rules, implementation steps, player decision cues, practice applications, a ready-to-run practice segment, a printable tool, troubleshooting guidance, and a quick-start page. Coverage, topics, and page counts vary by issue.
Does each monthly issue replace my current coaching system?
No. Every issue builds on one consistent CSM approach. Use the ideas, guidance, and tools that fit the problem in front of your team. Keep every delivered file and build a working library over time.
Who is it for?
The Coaches Room is designed for junior-high, middle-school, JV, varsity, competitive youth, AAU, college, and program-level basketball coaches. Each release identifies the team levels and adaptations for which it is best suited.
How is the content aligned to the season?
Each issue follows the real basketball calendar. Stats identify the season or reporting date and their scope. State-dependent rules and timing are identified, and featured states, schools, or programs have an explained reason for inclusion and a takeaway relevant to coaches nationwide.
When does the national magazine format begin?
The upgraded format begins with the 38-page Issue 003, Practice That Shows Up, released October 26, 2026. Issue 003 is the current joining issue. It includes the complete 18-page coaching guide and reporting refreshed through October 26. Future issue lengths and contents vary.
How does the free first month work?
Start a new subscription through the first-month-free enrollment page. The discount is limited to one introductory month per customer and applies to the first subscription cycle and current joining issue. It does not change existing contracts, cannot be combined with other discounts and does not discount unrelated products. Confirm both membership and Issue 003 show $0 before submitting checkout. All later membership months cost $9.99 USD plus applicable tax until canceled. Cancel through your customer-account subscription controls before the next charge date shown at checkout to avoid that charge. Your billing date can differ from the magazine release date.
What is Early Member Pricing?
Early Member Pricing is $9.99 USD per month, plus applicable tax. That base rate remains locked while the original subscription stays continuously active. If the membership is canceled and later restarted, the price available at that time applies.
What is included with the initial membership order?
Your initial membership order includes the issue designated current when you enroll. The first-month-free offer provides the first billing month and current Issue 003 at $0 through the dedicated enrollment page. A payment method is required. Then $9.99 USD/month plus applicable tax, automatically renewing until canceled. Joining product bundles are not part of this introductory offer. Earlier purchasers retain entitlements expressly promised at their original checkout.
Do new members receive every previous issue?
No. A member receives the issue designated current when the membership begins and each new issue released while the membership remains active. Previous issues may be sold separately. Membership is not an instant archive unlock.
Is there a video or live component?
No. The Coaches Room delivers written digital resources for coaches to use on their own schedule. There are no videos, livestreams, live calls, Zoom sessions, film submissions, or required appearances.
How are the digital resources delivered?
Your download email includes your personal links and identifies the Coaches Room issue by number and title. You can also open My downloads, sign in with the email used for your membership, and open the issue order to choose Download Now. A monthly issue may appear as a separate $0 member-delivery order.
New issues are planned for the last Monday of each month at 8 a.m. Central. Your subscription billing date can differ from the issue release date; a renewal receipt and a new-issue delivery email are separate messages. The next planned issue is Issue 004: First Five Games Diagnostic, scheduled for November 30, 2026, at 8 a.m. Central.
What if my renewal payment fails?
Shopify sends payment-failure notices and retries according to the store settings. If attempts are exhausted, the subscription is paused and a notification is sent. Open Manage membership to update your payment method and review the resume controls. Eligibility for future issues requires an active paid subscription or an active authorized introductory month. After the introductory month, successful renewal payment is required. Failed-payment, paused and canceled contracts are excluded. A subscription that was already canceled requires a new membership purchase at the price offered then.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Sign in to the Shopify customer account connected to the membership and use the subscription-management controls. If those controls are unavailable or fail, email josh@estersgc.com from the membership email address and request cancellation.
Do I keep delivered issues after I cancel?
Yes. Digital files already delivered remain yours under the CSM program-use license. Cancellation stops future billing and eligibility for future releases.
Can I share a Coaches Room issue?
You may use delivered material with staff and athletes inside your own authorized coaching program. You may not resell, publicly post, upload to a shared commercial library, or distribute the files to another program or organization.
Membership Terms and Cancellation Policy
Updated: October 28, 2026. Added the live first-month-free enrollment offer for the released Issue 003. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed price and original entitlements.
1. Recurring Subscription
By completing checkout, you authorize Competitive Systems Model to charge the displayed membership price, plus applicable tax, every month through Shopify until the subscription is canceled. The final price, billing frequency, and recurring nature of the purchase are shown before the order is submitted.
2. Early Member Pricing
Early Member Pricing is $9.99 USD per month while the offer remains available. The $9.99 base rate remains attached to the original subscription while it stays continuously active. If that subscription is canceled, a later membership is subject to the price and terms offered at that time. Applicable taxes may change independently.
3. Initial Order and Introductory Offer

4. Monthly Issue Eligibility
An active member, including a member within an authorized introductory month, receives a first season-aligned Coaches Room issue—the issue designated current when the membership begins—and each new Coaches Room issue released while the membership contract remains active. Beginning October 26, 2026, issues use the expanded national magazine format with focused, season-aligned coaching guidance. Each issue adds insight and tools to the member’s existing program; it does not require the member to replace or restart that program. New members do not automatically receive all previous issues. CSM may offer previous issues separately.
5. Delivery
Delivery is digital. Members must provide a valid email address and maintain access to that inbox. Shopify or an associated digital-delivery service provides the protected access path. A member may be required to sign in or complete an issue-specific access step using the membership email address. No physical product is shipped.
6. Cancellation
The customer may cancel through the Shopify customer account subscription controls. If self-service cancellation is unavailable or fails, the customer may email josh@estersgc.com from the membership email address.
When the subscription is canceled:
- future recurring charges stop;
- eligibility for future issue releases stops;
- previously delivered files remain licensed to the customer; and
- a later membership uses the price and terms available at that time.
Allow sufficient time to cancel before the next scheduled billing attempt. A cancellation request is complete when the subscription contract shows canceled or CSM sends written confirmation.
7. Refunds and Billing Errors
Because the membership provides digital content and access to the initial included resources after checkout, completed subscription charges are not automatically prorated or refunded for a partial billing period. This does not limit any refund required by law. Duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, technical failures, or other billing errors should be reported to josh@estersgc.com with the order number and membership email address for review.
8. Release Timing and Changes
CSM intends to release one Coaches Room issue each month. Release dates and topics may change when necessary to keep an issue accurate, useful, and aligned to the basketball calendar. If a material delay changes what a paid member reasonably expected to receive, CSM will communicate the revised timing and any available remedy.
9. Program-Use License
Membership grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use delivered materials within the customer’s own coaching program. The customer may print working copies and use tools with their own staff and athletes. The customer may not resell, sublicense, publicly post, upload to a shared commercial library, remove ownership notices, or distribute files to another program or organization.
10. Separate Products and Services
The Coaches Room does not include a complete archive, the Complete CSM Coaching Library, courses, certifications, live consulting, video instruction, or another product unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise.
11. Account and Email Responsibility
The customer is responsible for entering an accurate email address, safeguarding customer-account access, and promptly reporting an access or billing problem. CSM may require reasonable verification before changing membership details or resending protected downloads.
12. Policy and Price Changes
CSM may change the membership price or these terms for future memberships or future billing periods after providing any notice required by applicable law. A continuously active Early Member subscription retains its $9.99 monthly base rate unless the subscription is canceled, the customer accepts a different plan, or a change is required by law.
